On the road towards EPAS accreditation

Endeli Katalin Wed, 10/04/2017 - 11:23

As an initial step towards its EPAS accreditation, the Faculty of Business and Economics had the honor to welcome two special guests on June 20. Professor David Asch, the Chair of the EPAS Committee and Director of the Quality Services of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) spent a day in Pécs to share his professional knowledge and the Committee Chair’s perspective on the EFMD accreditation system with faculty members. Professor Ágnes Hofmesiter, former Dean of Corvinus University of Budapest and member of the EFMD Board of Trustees generously passed on experiences, difficulties and good practices of  Corvinus University in the EPAS accreditation process between 2007-2009.

Professor Asch and Professor Hofmeister’s program on campus also entailed meetings with the Faculty Management in which they provided professional support and counseling for the Faculty of Business and Economics and highlighted the steps and stages of the EPAS and EQUIS accreditation processes.

We warmly thank the professors for the intensive meetings, presentations and counseling and we hope to see them again in Pécs soon.
