"Green is more than a colour. It is a Philosophy.” (Benetton)

ISOBE (International Students of Business and Economics) in cooperation with the International Office took part in the project “For a Clean Environment - Voluntary Action at the University of Pécs” on 10th of October 2018.

ISOBE and UPFBE lay great emphasis on being environmentally responsible and building a community, and this event was an excellent opportunity for serving both of those purposes.

We set out at 9 in the morning, with garbage bags and cleaning gloves, and cleaned the vicinity of the Law and Business Faculties with 8 international students as well as colleagues from the Faculty of Business and Economics and the Teacher Training Center. While the morning routine was a quick activity, participants had fun hunting for the “treasure” on the ground.

The voluntary action that was coordinated by UP’s Green University Program and joined by 200 participants from all over the university at 6 locations in the city of Pécs.
