UPFBE is a flat, decentralised organisation with a multilevel management and decision-making structure. The functions and activities carried out by the management, its different bodies and the operational units of the institution are regulated in the document called Organisational and Operational Regulations of the Faculty of Business and Economics, which is an appendix to the larger document called Organisational and Operational Regulations of the University of Pécs.
