Erasmus

Erasmus+ is the new EU program for education, training, youth and sport for 2014-2020, started in January 2014. It combines seven programs from the 2007-2013 period, namely the Lifelong Learning program, the Youth in action program and five international cooperation program.

 

For students

As a strategic priority, the Faculty of Business and Economics is committed to facilitate and increase student mobility, both incoming and outgoing, in order to encourage students and faculty members understanding, experience and appreciation of other cultures, languages and learning approaches.

Students can spend maximum 12 months on Erasmus+ mobility during their undergraduate and another 12 months during their graduate studies.

 

For colleagues

Our university encourages our partner institutions’ academic staff to teach or research and administrative staff to spend a a week with professional program in the University of Pécs Faculy of Business and Economics. The International Office is pleased to offer any help needed for making a teaching staff or staff mobility period really happen with us.

In the framework of the Erasmus+ program faculty members can spend a maximum 5 working days at any of our more than 70 partner institutions. During the mobility period professors shall realize at least 8 hours of teaching by delivering guest lectures, providing consultations or supervisory sessions for 5 days.

The Faculty of Business and Economics supports its teaching staff in gaining international experience, which nowadays is indispensable.

The one week European ERASMUS+ Program for Staff Mobility offers opportunities for the administrative and other non-teaching staff of a higher education institution to go to a partner institution to learn from its experiences and good practices and to improve their skills required for their job.
