International programmes

Our Faculty emphasises the continuous development of its international activity, and so since its foundation it has established close cooperation with several recognised European and overseas educational institutions, in order to be able to work out exchange programmes for students and teachers, supporting this way the gaining of a diverse set of practical experiences and joint research activities.

For the time being we have contacts to more than 70 European institutions and have established bilateral cooperation agreements with another 10 overseas institutions of higher education. Within the frameworks of these cooperations, approximately 70 international students do their studies at the English language trainings of the Faculty of Business and Economics of UP every semester, and some 60 students of our Faculty, Pécsiközgáz use the opportunity of spending a semester or two at one of the partner institutions of the Faculty.

Bilateral cooperations allow also our teachers to gain educational experiences abroad, and the reception of international guest lecturers at our Faculty. International educational experiences and the reception of international guest lecturers are an excellent basis for making the cooperation even tighter by the creation of innovative forms of training, this purpose is served by the International Teaching Week, and this was also the consideration behind the establishment of the training form of joint modules (video conference), due to which Hungarian students can also gain international experiences in their home country.
