Early Application Scholarship

General Rules of Discounts/Scholarships

  • All discounts/scholarships under this Regulation shall be fixed at one amount per semester.
  • Students can apply for the scholarships through the Neptun study system until the end of the 6th week of the first semester. 
  • The School’s Committee for Grants and Scholarships (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) shall be responsible for determining those students and applicants receiving discounts/refunds/scholarships based on this Regulation.
  • The School’s Study Department shall inform the student and the Central Study Department about the discounts /scholarships awarded by the Committee.
  • The student may appeal against the decision of the Committee in accordance with Article 5(2) of the Code of Charges and Benefits of the University of Pécs.
  • The total amount of financial aid awarded to a fee-paying student may not exceed 80% of the semester tuition fee applicable to that student.
  • The Dean has the right to override the financial aid rates and budgets laid down in this Regulation, taking into account the School’s budgetary position.

 

Early Application Scholarship

Early Application Scholarship applies only to fee-paying international students in their first semester. 

 

Application Scholarship can be given to those students who

- have paid their application fee and uploaded the complete application documentation to the application system (or a proof of having applied for a language exam or matriculation in case of BSc) until 15th March for BSc programmes and the September intake of the MSc programmes or 20th August for February intake of the MSc programmes

- who got at least 60 points out of 100 during the application process and start their studies based on the curriculum plan included in the Student Handbook in the year of admission in the case of BSc or in the upcoming year following the admission in the case of MSc students.

Early Application Scholarship means 20-50% scholarship from the first semester’s tuition fee of the student.

The eligibility criteria for Early Application Scholarship are monitored by the School’s Study Department and International Office, no student application is necessary.
