Besides the smaller, local student groups the biggest European Student Organizations are present in Pécs as well, offering a wide variety of professional and leisure programs for both Hungarian and international students. These events give a good opportunity to meet local people, make new friends and gain memorable experiences. The current events of the organizations can be found on their Facebook page. Membership criteria differs among associations, it is better to first contact the organizations about the details.
Student Union (Hallgatói Önkormányzati Testület)
The SU of the Faculty of Business and Economics is made up of 5 members. The Unioin’s purpose is to make students’ lives more diverse and easier. We represent the students’ of the faculty at meetings and negotiations with the different internal units, departments and professors of the Faculty and the University as well as with external organizations. The Student Union also provides assistance in studí related issues and information on administrative processes. We play an active role in maintaining the student traditions of the Faculty by organizing and coordinating public events. By networking with regional enterprises we assist business students’ professional development and try to enhance their career opportunities.

Kappa Tau Beta
The fellowship – modelled upon university fraternities int he US – was founded in 2010. We aim to develop and maintain a community the members of which can rely on each other int he present and the future as well. Kappa members are actively involved in student life at the university, members of different student associations, faculty representatives at university level events and „driving forces” of faculty life.
Janus Pannonius College for Advanced Studies
The College was founded in 2007 by 40 students of the Faculty of Business and Economics. We are committted and active student members of the University. The operations of the College are regulated in its Organizational Rules based on the Charter of Colleges for Advanced Studies. Recently we have become nationally recognized due to the several national and international competition awards gained by our members many of whom have wone first prize at Conferences of Scientific Students' Associations and receives the Fellowship Granted by the Republic.
We are the photo-video organization of the Faculty. We are to be found anywhere where anything importatnt happens. Our cameras find students and professors alike. The association was founded in 2002 with the aim to enliven faculty sport life. Ever since our foundation the association with its changing members have been consistently assisting students to reach their goals in terms of sport and fitness.
The Society is one of the oldest not-for-profit representative organizations of Hungarian ecomists. Founded in 1894 this professional-scientific organization has a long lasting tradition in enhancing the recognition of the achievments of economists and the science of Economics in Hungary. One of its most important tasks is to integrate young economists within its youth organizations to be found in HEIs. The Pécs Youth Board is one of these organizations – and we would heartily welcome you among us!
