Academic Calendar
Year 2026/2027
The academic year at the University of Pécs is divided into two semesters, Fall and Spring.
- The Fall semester begins in September and lasts until the end of January. There is a one week break during autumn.
- The Sprig semester begins in February and goes until the end of June. There is a spring break.
Please be aware that the Faculty of Business and Economics divides the semester into two periods: one of scheduled classes and one of examinations at the end of each semester.

*After 13th September/7th February it is impossible to sign up for a course in the NEPTUN. Please note, if you are not signed up for a course in the NEPTUN you are not allowed to take an exam and receive a grade and the credits for the given course. Also, if you are a master's student and submit your thesis this semester, you need to register for the Thesis Development course.
**It can change according to the public school holiday.
