International Seasons International Culture Day in Pécs

This is the third time that the International Culture Day in Pécs (ICDiP) will take place, this time as the opening day of the Pécs Days. On this day, organised by the University of Pécs, students and all visitors are welcome to enjoy a very colourful and interesting programme of concerts and foreign performers on Széchenyi Square. A special day for a meeting of cultures in the heart of Pécs.

PTE Dance Ensemble 16:00
The programme will be opened by the PTE Dance Ensemble and the PEAC Cheerleading Department. They will take the audience on a journey around the world with the magic of dance, acrobatics, cheerleading and circus elements.

Lamine Siskora Trio concert 17:00
Lamine Siskora is a virtuoso master of the West African kora, a unique traditional stringed instrument. His ensemble brings to life the musical heritage of Senegal, spiced with rich and diverse styles. Their playing creates a real musical magic, conveying the "word of the heart" through the strings.

Čuvarkuća concert 19:00
One of the new exciting bands of indie rock, Čuvarkuća from Esek, will visit us. Their name means caretaker, but don't worry, they're not coming armed with a broom, but with psychedelic rock songs! Their music is like spiking a Mac DeMarco and Tame Impala cocktail with a little Croatian spice. They have stirred up the music world with their energetic sound.

Brains concert 21:00
Brains are Hungary's most popular electronic music concert band. Their sold-out club concerts and big-stage festival appearances all over the country confirm the group's place in the domestic and international music scene.
