Why I like studying BAM at the University of Pécs

Who do I recommend this major to?

When people hear about business or economics in common they think of boring accounting offices. I can assure you that this is not true, it is a lot more complicated and fun. If you are still indecisive about your future plans but enjoy math, logistic questions, working with money, searching for connections and impacts, this major may be the best option. While studying at our university you will get a sight into many departments so you will see which ones you like the most or suit you the best (marketing, HR, PR, management, logistics, trade, finance etc.). Also, you can take further courses to strengthen your knowledge in those areas or attend to presentations and even get to know future workplaces.

Uniqueness

What makes this major unique it’s a combination of real life simulations and standard credentials. First of all, this program is EFMD accredited which means that your degree is recognized by top-tier companies from all around the world not just Hungarian ones. It’s like an universal passport for your career. If you are interested in learning abroad but afraid to leave your home country for such a long time you could apply for double degree programmes or for exchange programmes. Also, to practice your knowledge in our university you can make different projects and even team up with companies or attend to guest lecturers’ classes.

Closing thoughts

Choosing this major was one of the best decision of my life. Besides the quality of education I would like to highlight the free-time activities which the university provides from year to year. I have met wonderful people here from all over the world and even made lifelong friendships with them. Not to mention, that Pécs is one of the best university cities in Europe, for a reason. It is beautiful with its architecture but with modern restaurants, cafes with many gripping events through the year.
