As a professional basketball player, she was a member of the Hungarian national basketball team 80 times and represented Hungary at several youth and senior European Championships for almost 20 years. She is a one-time Hungarian champion and three-time Hungarian Cup winner. After finishing her sports career, she began her doctoral studies in sports economics, obtaining a doctoral degree in 2021. In 2019, she published a book with her colleague entitled "Application of econometric models in sports economics."

She is a member of the Interdepartmental Committee on Sports Sciences, established at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2022. Since the same year, she has been responsible for the „Athletes' Dual Career" and sports scholarship programs as the Rector's commissioner.
