Dr. Gábor Balogh
Gábor Balogh is associate professor at University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics, Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences. His teaching and research fields: human resource management (HRM), career and talent management, coaching, communication management. He is member of Cranet international network for global HRM survey. Since 2022 he is the professional leader of Competence and Career Centre (CareerSpot). He has mentor, management trainer and business coach certificates on advanced level. He got PhD degree in 2014 at Doctoral School of Regional Policy and Economics in topic of talent management. He accomplished habilitation degree in 2021 in HRM. He is member of CRANET international network’s advisory board and secretary of Communication Management Working Committee at Hungarian Academy of Science. He has been awarded several times for his talent support activities: Bonis Bona – Excellent Talent Developer in 2016, Harsányi István PhD Award for Innovation in 2015, Ferenc Farkas Memorial Price in 2018, 'Teacher of the Year 2019' from Janus Pannonius College for Advances Studies in 2019, Pro Cura Ingenii Price in 2020. Since 2023 he is studying Psychology (BA) at University of Pécs. He is an EMCC EIA accredited coach and mentor on senior practitioner level (since 2021). Gábor Balogh attended several international events and collected academic experiences in the USA, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Iceland. He is an aikido instructor (Japanese martial art), he established his aikido school in 2009 and since then he is the president and instructor of this organization.
