Uzsoki Máté

Maté Uzsoki completed his studies at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and the Oxford School between 2001 and 2013. After obtaining two BSc degrees and an MBA, he earned his PhD from the Doctoral School of Business Administration at the University of Pécs in 2022. His research focuses on the measurement of market risk in the field of quantitative finance and economic mathematics using neural networks and statistical models (MTMT identification number: 10051008). With over 10 years of professional experience gained at Gémklub, Aion Next Kft., Microsoft, and Licquid, he founded Serpentarius Software Ltd. in 2013, where he currently works as CEO. Since February 2024, he has been the Chief Operating Officer of SunDell NyRt., a real estate transaction-focused company with a consolidated balance sheet total of 60 billion forints. Since 2022, he has been the chair of the Advisory Board of the Department of Management Science at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs and a member of the Faculty Advisory Board
