Formal requirements of the Dissertation

1. The doctoral thesis may be submitted in English.

2. The content of the thesis (not including the table of contents, list of figures and tables, appen-dix, list of references used) is at least 100 pages and not more than 150 pages.

3. Font style: Times New Roman. Font size: 12. Line spacing 1,5. Margins should be set to 2,5 on the top, bottom and on the right and 3,0 on the left.

The doctoral thesis must be accompanied by the doctoral thesis summary and the candidate must upload the title of the thesis, 3-5 keywords related to the subject of the thesis and a 10-15 line abstract of the thesis in a dedicated interface.

4. The doctoral thesis summary is an abridged version of the dissertation in which the doctoral candidate presents the justification for his/her scientific work, his/her methodological competence and his/her main results. The theses are at least 8 pages and no more than 16 pages.

5. In writing the doctoral thesis, particular attention should be paid to correct citation. In the dis-sertation, the Harvard referencing system (author, year) is the accepted way of referencing. Any plagiarism found will result in rejection of the doctoral thesis.

6. The draft doctoral thesis, the doctoral dissertation and the theses must be prepared in MS Word, LaTeX or PDF format, according to the templates provided on the Doctoral School website
