International PhD course

Emese Braun recently had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring international PhD course in Economic Geography held in Utrecht. The two-week program provided an excellent platform for young researchers to learn from leading scholars, present their own research projects, and engage in thoughtful and constructive academic discussions.

Special thanks go to Ron Boschma and Deyu Li for the outstanding organization of the course and for creating such a valuable and intellectually stimulating experience.

Although intensive, the program proved to be highly rewarding both professionally and personally. Beyond gaining new insights and perspectives for future research, participants also benefited greatly from the exchange of ideas within an excellent international group of PhD students and researchers.

Initiatives like this play an important role in connecting young researchers with shared interests and fostering future academic collaboration. We hope to meet again soon at similar international events.
