Éva SOMOGYINÉ KOMLÓSI holds a Ph.D. in Economics. She worked at the MTA-PTE Innovation and Economic Growth Research Group at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for ten years (2012-2021). During this period, she actively participated in several national and international research projects focused on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including the Regional Entrepreneurship and Development Index (REDI, EC DG Regio), the European Index of Digital Entrepreneurship Systems (EIDES, EC JRC), and the Digital Entrepreneurship Index (DEI, George Mason University). Between 2012 and 2017, she contributed to the work of the GEDI Institute. From 2019 to 2022, her teaching activities at the Faculty primarily focused on courses in regional development policy, regional economics, and entrepreneurship development in the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs offered in both Hungarian and English. Since 2023, she has been working as a research fellow at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics in Hungary.
