Education strategy

The Educational Strategy for the period 2026-2030 of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs is centred on enhancing the student experience, improving the quality of the programme portfolio, and strengthening flexible modes of learning. The Faculty aims to complement its traditional degree programmes with competitive online and distance learning provision in response to evolving student needs, while its English-language and internationally accredited programmes will further reinforce its international presence. The strategy places particular emphasis on practice-based learning, collaboration with corporate partners, project-based education, and the development of the digital learning environment.

The strategy identifies several key areas for action: digitalisation for greater efficiency (Custom GPT-supported administration, Power Apps-based course management, Learning Management System (LMS) development, and the hybridisation of courses), as well as internationalisation at home and mobility (the review and expansion of double degree programmes, with particular emphasis on the European Union's enlargement towards the Western Balkans).

The strategy's target indicators include increasing graduating student satisfaction from 4.26 to at least 4.40 (KPI 2), launching at least one international online programme (KPI 3), and introducing one Hungarian-language distance learning programme (KPI 4).
