Call for Proposals for the Establishment and Operation of Student Clubs

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Pécs is inviting applications for the establishment and operation of Student Clubs. The establishment of Student Clubs is intended to support initiatives put forward by students, thereby encouraging academic and community activities.
Student Clubs are academic and community groups established and run by students. Their founders and members may be students at any level of study, in any language or on any programme, with no limit on numbers. Students may explore any area of professional interest or initiative in their proposals; however, preference will be given to proposals relating to the following topics:
- sustainability
- digitalisation
- internationalisation
- other topics focusing on current economic and business issues
Work carried out in the Student Clubs does not entail any financial remuneration for members. However, club membership can be a significant advantage for students when applying for various scholarships, where club activities may count as bonus points during the assessment process, recognising the students’ professional commitment and community involvement.
The deadline for submitting applications is 16 September 2026.
