Gábor BALOGH

Assistant professor (senior lecturer) at University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics, Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences. His teaching and research fields: human resource management (HRM), career and talent management, coaching, communication management. He is member of Cranet international network for global HRM survey. Since 2014 he works as a coordinator at TalentSpot of the Faculty in charge of student competence survey. He has a mentor certificate. He got PhD degree in 2014 at Doctoral School of Regional Policy and Economics in topic of talent management in higher education and circulation of talents in the world. He has been awarded by Ministry of Human Resources as an Excellent Talent Developer in 2016 and received Harsányi István PhD Award for Innovation in 2015. He was a scholar of the National Program of Excellence 2013-2014.

 

Mariann BENKE

Mariann Benke graduated in 2011 at the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics in the Management MSc program. She continued her studies at the Doctoral School of Business and Administration at the University of Pécs. Mariann Benke has been working as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences since 2014.

Previous working experiences: OTP Bank Nyrt. 2009, 2010 (trainee); Praktika Kft. 2012 (trainee); OTKA project 2013-2014 (research assistant).

She currently teaches change management, leadership theories, organizational behavior, organizational development and organizational management. Her fields of research include motivation and learning theories, human capital theories and change management.

 

Katalin DOBRAI

Ákos JARJABKA

Ákos Jarjabka was born on the 27th of May 1972 in Szeged. In his scientific progress it is mentionable that he earned his PhD degree in the University of Pécs, at the Faculty of Business and Economics in the topic of national organisational culture management in 2004, then habilitated successfully in 2016. Since 1998 he had been working as an assistant lecturer, since 2002 as a senior lecturer, and since 2006 as an associate professor at the faculty named above, at the Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences, which is led by him since 2013, moreover he has been the faculty’s vice dean responsible for education between 2011-2015.

His publications encompass the science of leadership, international management, national-organizational culture management, human resource management, and project management as well. The number of scientific publications written by him and recorded in the Collection of Hungarian Scientific Works (MTMT) is 166, number of citations is 139, furthermore his Herfindahl-Hirschman Index is 7, i10-index is 3. Besides his position at the Faculty, he is the 650th Jubilee of the University of Pécs project’s professional leader since 2015 and the leader – commissioned by the rector - of the University of Pécs Diaspora Project Network. Since 2005 he is the member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, since 2008 the member of the Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Pécs in the IX. Department Committee of Economics and Law. Between 2009 and 2011 he was the president of the Working Committee of Marketing and Management, between 2009 and 2016 the secretary of the Department Committee. He owns the membership of the Project Management Institute’s Hungarian member organisation, the Hungarian Project Management Alliance and the International Association of Cross Cultural Competence and Management.

 

Gyula LÁSZLÓ

Gyula László has taught at the University of Pécs since 1970. Habilitated professor, CSc, professor emeritus. The focus of his research is on labour market, employment policy, employment relations (theoretical and practical issues of labour interest reconciliation), and human resource managment. He was vice dean of the Faculty for two terms, leading the reforms in the academic programs. The regional and local employment policy and traning strategy were prepared under his supervision during multiple terms.

 

Julianna NÉMETH

Julianna Németh graduated in 2014 in Economist, Applied Management, at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics. From 2014 to 2017 she continued her studies, participating in the doctorate program. She is an assistant lecturer since the beginning of February 2018, in the Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences.

Her main lectures are leadership and organizing, management and leadership, organizational behavior, human resource management and introduction to management. Her primary interest areas were influenced by the fact that during her management studies, she finished her finance and accounting degree as well. Her main research areas are the models of human capital evaluation and wage regressions.

 

Norbert SIPOS

Norbert Sipos graduated in 2009 in Economist, Management and Consulting, at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics. From 2009 to 2012 he continued his studies, participating at the doctorate program, becoming a doctoral candidate in 2015, afterward in 2018 defended his thesis titled ‘Graduate Career Tracking practices in Hungary and abroad – Comparison of the Graduate Career Tracking System and the Administrative Databases Integration’.

From 2011 to 2015 he worked as an assistant lecturer at the Eötvös József College, Baja, teaching mainly management and accounting. In 2015 he became an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics, main lectures: management, leadership, labour-market. Since 2017 is responsible for the Graduate Career Tracking System of the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Since 2009 he is an active tender, feasibility study, business plan writer and organizer of several national events. From 2009 he was a presidency member of the Alumni of Pécs Graduated Students of Advanced Studies since 2012 he is the president.
