What happened at the CoRe lab’s first online Corporate Talk event?

On April 21, 2021, we hosted our first online webinar of the year, where our host, Szabolcs Tóth, regional marketing director of Terrán Ltd., welcomed two experts: Erika Csikesz, sales director of TV2 Média Group Zrt. and Zsolt Pető, owner of Euroshow Event Management Ltd.

The discussion focused on how the pandemic situation has changed people’s media consumption habits, and also on the impact of this new situation on the advertising market and how events have been affected by the coronavirus.

The discussion showed that a lot of things have moved online, and that attention to television has become dominant in households, and even further growth can be generated through clever collaborations (for example, by featuring well-known people on social media). It is also apparent that uncertainty and changing circumstances have often forced market players to make quick decisions.

In the events market, there has been a major “exodus”, as clients have been forced to cancel the larger share of events.

A boom is expected in the future, but security is also becoming a more prominent issue. In addition, online solutions are not expected to lose much of their share, some kind of hybrid solutions are expected to be developed by event market players, also, on the TV market it is expected that trends that have already emerged (such as the production of own content) will further strengthen.
