BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMME 2024

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb announces a competition for scholarships for the participation of students in Erasmus + combined intensive program Business game with a splash of Erasmus (The international blend).

The topic that will be covered in this program refers to introduction to the world of business development through simulation game FMCGame (EcoSim) in which business decisions of a company that produces and distributes fast moving consumer goods are modelled. In the simulation, students manage such a virtual company that produces and distributes various types of drinks. In collaboration with Badel1862, a company known for its beverage portfolio, including wines, spirits, Erasmus Tonic soft drinks and cocktail program, participants engage in a competition (hackathon) to develop a practical solution for a genuine business challenge presented by the company.

 

Who can apply:

Students of university integrated studies, undergraduate professional studies and graduate professional studies in the academic year 2023/24 can apply.

 

How the programme will be organized:

A combined intensive program will be organized virtually (online) in the period from March 1 to April 19, 2023 (6 times, including meetings for the trip preparation) and physically in Zagreb, Croatia from May 13 to May 17, 2023 (Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb). Language of instruction:

Classes will be held in English.

Evaluation of the program:

For successful participation, the student will receive 3 ECTS points.

 

Criteria and procedure for selecting candidates:

If more candidates applied than can be financed, additional documents will be requested from the students, based on which a ranking list will be formed.
