The ITHAS (International Tourism & Hospitality Academic at Sea) study cruise is a unique opportunity aimed primarily at tourism and catering BSc students. Each year the programme takes place in a new location and has a new theme.

Between 6-13 May 2023, the International Tourism & Hospitality Academic at Sea (ITHAS) team invites you again for a study cruise! The theme is "cultural heritage sites", which means that the programme will give you the opportunity to get an insight into the practical challenges and problems to be solved in the field of cultural and heritage tourism.
November 2021
The cruise aboard the Shabab Oman II will start on 5 November 2021. The ship will sail from Muscat, stopping off the coasts of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar before reaching Dubai on 21 November. After a 10-day stay in Dubai, it will return to Muscat for the homeward journey.
