Evelyn Calispa earned her Ph.D. in Regional Development with summa cum laude from the University of Pécs in 2023. She holds a MSc in International Development: Environment, Climate change and Development from The University of Manchester. She has experience as a Lecturer, teaching courses on Introduction to management, Research methodology, Sociology of tourism and Tourism planning. She is also experienced in designing tailor-made educational programs, having succesfully planned, created and delivered courses on scientific research and academic writing for university teachers and researchers.

Over the past few years, she has published several research articles in high-quality journals in the field of regional entrepreneurship and actively participated in international conferences. Her current research interest includes regional development, entrepreneurship, rural developement and tourism. She worked as a Research Assistant from April to December 2023 and, since January 2024 she is employed as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pécs.
