Evelyn Calispa obtained a Ph.D. in Regional Development (summa cum laude) from the University of Pécs in 2023. She holds a MSc in International Development from The University of Manchester. She has experience as a Lecturer, teaching courses on Introduction to management, Research methodology, Sociology of tourism, Academic writing, Introduction to social sciences. Her research interest includes regional development, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and rural development. Moreover, over the past few years, she has published in high-quality journals in the field of regional entrepreneurship and actively participated in international conferences. She has been working at the at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pécs since 2023, first as a Research Assistant and later as Assistant Professor and member of the School’s International Accreditation Team.
