Gábor Horváth
Gábor Horváth earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting in 2011, received a Master's degree in Finance in 2017, and became a Fintech Management Economist in 2022. Since September 2022, he has been a PhD student at the PTE Doctoral School of Business Administration. Additionally, he has been registered as an accountant since 2015 and is a qualified chartered accountant in public and corporate accounting.
He has held a diverse array of positions in the local government subsystem of public finances and the University of Pécs Directorate of Economics and Controlling in the disciplines of finance and accounting. He possesses a broad range of expertise in the areas of accounting, reporting, and regulation.
With a particular emphasis on corporate and public accounting and applied informatics, he has been teaching in the disciplines of professional training in finance, continuing education for credit points, and higher education since 2014.
He has been a lecturer at the Institute of Finance and Accounting at the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics since February 2022. Initially, he worked part-time, but he transitioned to full-time in 2023.
Research interests: the financial valuation of intangible corporate assets (primarily data and data assets, as well as organizational structures that support sustainability and resilience), and related non-financial information disclosure and measurement methodologies, additionally, sustainability expectations and compliance in the corporate sector.
