This year, the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics welcomed 11 distinguished international guest lecturers as part of its International Teaching Week, held between April 13 and 16. The event brought together academics from Croatia, Czechia, the Netherlands, India, Botswana, and the United Kingdom, who contributed to the School’s English-language programmes through a diverse range of guest lectures.

In addition to the lectures, the programme featured two engaging workshops. One focused on experiential learning, where professors from Osijek shared their best practices and insights, offering valuable perspectives on innovative teaching methods. The second workshop was led by Martina Tomičić Furjan from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics, who presented her experiences with short-term mobility programmes, with a particular emphasis on the organisation of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs).

UPFBE highly values the knowledge and expertise shared by its international partners and looks forward to welcoming them again for next year’s International Teaching Week.
