Semester Closing (Tea) Party

2018. December 10. 08:57

The International Office welcomed some 50 students from the faculty for the Semester Closing (Tea) Party on 6th December.

The theme of the party was Christmas and gift-giving.

Zsuzsanna Polgár, the renowned gingerbread maker, visited us and showed some beautiful patterns and techniques to decorate gingerbread, while we also had the opportunity to learn and sing a Hungarian Christmas carol.

The presence of some of our international students’ children was a heartwarming addition to the event.

The finished gingerbread cookies are now decorating the Christmas tree of the faculty next to which you can see a table with gift boxes. These boxes are donations for families in need with young children. If you feel like, you can join the initiative and leave some gifts for them in a shoe-box, or in the collecting box on the table.

The International Office wishes every student a peaceful December with lots of joy and time spent with family and friends.
