The European Online Business Negotiation Competition

On January 29 and 30, 2026, the European Sales Competition Association and HAN University of Applied Sciences will organize ‘the European Online Business Negotiation Competition’ (EOBN), for the first time.

Why participate?

  • Students develop their commercial conversation skills in an international setting.
  • Universities learn from a growing European network of business negotiation educators.
  • The competition is a stand-alone event, yet it may serve as a stepping stone towards the in-person European Sales Competition in June 2026 (see the website: https://www.europeansalescompetition.com).

How does it work?

  • Students participate online from their own university (maximum 2 students per university).
  • Students gain valuable and practical knowledge from the masterclasses provided.
  • They conduct business conversations with experienced jury members from the business world.
  • Lecturers receive feedback and a practical tool to further support their students.

The participation fee is €50 per student. 100% of this is used for prizes for competitors and organizational costs. In addition, to facilitate the learning, we kindly ask if someone from your organization can join as a jury member in one of the (online) negotiation rooms.
