The UPFBE International Office in cooperation with the Faculty Student Union and the Erasmus Student Network Pécs organized the International Orientation Week at the start of this academic year between the 31st August and the 2nd September for international exchange and full-time, degree seeking students.
We were happy to see that a great number of exchange students and degree-seeking freshmen participated at the Orientation Week.
According to the usual programme the students started the orientation week with a Campus Tour, so they could get familiar with the building of the faculty, the Central Registrar’s Office, the Rector’s Office, and the Central Library. It was followed by an Intercultural Training with one of professional mentors, Dr. Norbert Sipos.
On the second day, students could participate in the Ice Breaking Party, where the Dancing University, Faculty Student Union and ESN Pécs presented their work and services. As a closing to this day, our professional filming team has recorded the “Time capsule” videos with the volunteered students.
On the last day of the orientation, students could participate in a Hungarian Language crash course held by the International Studies Centre, and then the Immigration Office gave a presentation on how to apply for Residence Permit or Registration Card.
The Orientation Week ended with a Laser-tag at the Laser Corner where students seemed to have a lot of fun.
Dear Students, once again, welcome at UPFBE!
