Educational Prerequisites

In order to be eligible for university studies in Hungary, a student must demonstrate that they meet several requirements for the programs.

There are certain general entry requirements that all students must meet:  

 

BSc Programs

In order to be offered a place in a bachelor's (first cycle or undergraduate) program, you must have successfully completed your upper secondary (high school) education and be able to demonstrate the minimum language requirement. 

 

MSc Programs

In order to be offered a place in a master's (second cycle or graduate) program, you must have been awarded a Bachelor's degree by an internationally recognized university and be able to demonstrate the minimum language requirement.

A Business degree can be: BA or BSc in Business Administration or in Economics or in Accounting and Finance, etc. A business-related degree means that the applicant attended some business-related modules or courses but does not have a Bachelor degree in business. In this case, the applicant will be obliged to take the missing courses in our Bachelor Program.

 

MBA Program

In order to be offered a place in the MBA (second cycle or graduate) program, you must have been awarded a Bachelor's degree by an internationally recognized university and be able to demonstrate the minimum language requirement.

  • A Business degree can be: BA or BSc in Business Administration or in Economics or in Accounting and Finance, etc.

 

PhD Programs

In order to be offered a place in a PhD program, you must have been awarded a Master’s degree by an internationally recognized university and be able to demonstrate the minimum language requirement.

In order to be considered eligible for the Program, applicants must hold a Master’s degree (MA, MSc) in a relevant field. Prospective students who do not possess a Master’s degree in Economics are advised to complement their studies with a Master of Business Administration degree at an accredited institution. Applicants who are still conducting their studies at the time of application must submit an official letter from their institution indicating the date of graduation. Students cannot enroll at the Program until they have successfully completed their studies at the Master’s level.
