EVOLVING ENVIRONMENT, ADAPTING FINANCE: SUSTAINABILITY, TECHNOLOGY, AND INSTABILITY
AI is one of the keys to adapting financial and accounting responses to a changing world: how it supports risk management in turbulent times, how it scales sustainability (ESG/climate) analyses, and how it transforms accounting and auditing processes.
Planned sections:
1) AI in a turbulent financial environment: resilience, forecasting, stress testing
2) AI in sustainable finance: ESG analytics and transition risk
3) AI and accounting: automation, quality, controls
4) AI in auditing and assurance: assurance, integrated reporting
5) LLMs and generative AI in finance/accounting decision support
6) Model risk, compliance, and AI governance in the financial sector
7) Data, infrastructure, and regtech/suptech: how can regulation become machine-readable reality?
8) Industry and corporate case studies: "AI-based adaptation" in operation
Opportunities to publish
Submitted and accepted abstracts will be published in an electronic publication with an ISBN number (abstract volume). Submitted papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed. Papers that have been reviewed and selected will be published in a special issue of the (domestic B-rated) Marketing & Management journal. Papers not selected for the special issue will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number and DOI identifier.

Exceptional rewards will be conferred upon the doctorate candidates who present the most exemplary papers. The Best Paper Award seeks to acknowledge the most original and highest quality research pertinent to the conference themes.

Eligibility requirements:
The nominated paper must be submitted before the paper submission deadline of 18 May 2026.
The manuscript will be evaluated by the conference's scientific committee.
Ceremony of awards:
The award presentation will occur during the conference's commencement.
It is possible to submit a paper; alternatively, you may participate in the conference by delivering a presentation without a paper.
Abstracts, papers
Abstracts (max. 300 words) can be uploaded on the application form. The abstract should include the aim of the research, the methodology, the results obtained and the conclusions. (We will send feedback on accepted abstracts after the last day of the application deadline.)
Papers meeting the formal requirements should be uploaded by 18 May 2026 using the link below. Papers submitted in Hungarian or English should be between 27,000 and 36,000 characters in length (including spaces, bibliography, figures, tables, appendices, etc.), which corresponds to approximately 15-20 standard typed pages. The study must be an original paper that has not been published elsewhere. Please include a 250-300 word summary (abstract) at the beginning of the paper, structured as follows: the summary should present the objectives of the paper, the methodology used, the most important results, and practical/economic policy recommendations. In addition, please provide 3-5 keywords. The acknowledgements may be placed after the keywords.
Submitted studies will undergo double-blind peer review. Studies that have been reviewed and selected will be published in a special issue of the (domestic B-rated) Marketing & Management journal. Studies not selected for the special issue will be published in the conference proceedings. We can only accept studies in the format specified in the template, as Word text files with the .doc / .docx extension!
It is possible to submit a paper; alternatively, you may participate in the conference by delivering a presentation without a paper.
