Coaching is a personalised, supportive process and method that helps the client (in this case, the student) set clear and realistic goals and achieve outstanding results by drawing on their own resources.
Coaching is an active, collaborative process: a series of personalized 45–60-minute sessions, complemented by tasks that develop the communication, planning, advocacy, and self-awareness skills—as well as effective coping strategies—needed to reach the student’s chosen goal. A similar service on the market typically costs tens of thousands of forints per session, but students of UP FBE can access it free of charge.
During the meetings, you choose the focus of the conversation, while the mentor listens attentively, offers observations, and—most importantly—asks questions. The mentor helps you interpret your situation or opportunities, identify ineffective past solutions, develop new and appropriate behavior patterns, and plan the steps leading to your goal. A series of sessions contributes to increased self-awareness, confidence, and trust, helps you evaluate your options more clearly, and—most importantly—supports your personal development in a safe and accepting environment.
