Competence and Career Centre

It is easy to get lost in the university’s labyrinth – one might need a helping hand. CareerSpot was founded with this aim in 2014. Our founders, Mrs. Ferenc Farkas dr., Edit Gyarmatiné dr. Bányai, Gábor Balogh dr. and Alexandra Blandl (student assistant) created an open, dedicated team of lecturers and students. CareerSpot’s goal is to support students to find their own path and place at the UP FBE and develop their soft skills.

What awaits you at CareerSpot?

Mentoring: Think of it as a compass that provides guidance and shows you which way to go next.
Coaching: It is important to find your own path! A coach, just like a map, does not tell where to go, but supports you to better understand your situation and opportunities.
Workshops: Time management, learning methods, stress management… Our workshops offer you a chance to develop in a less formal environment.
Career Counselling: We support you in becoming a confident professional. Come and try a job interview situation or show us your CV.
Extra consultations: Do you have difficulties with a subject? Let us know, so we can organise extra sessions for practice.
