Generations in Tourism
On 23rd March 2018 the Department of Marketing and Tourism of the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics organises the International Tourism Marketing Conference for the first time.
It is a great honour for us that we could welcome among our guests a great number of tutors, researchers and colleagues in the practice. It is our important ambition to gather ground to strengthen the relations between the ones involved in teaching and in practice and to form inspiring and constructive discourses in eight Hungarian and one English language session.
The primary aim of the conference is to focus on the relation between tourism and marketing and to gather ground to come to know to the thoughts, problems, experiences and research results of the colleagues involved in the education and research of the two disciplines. It is also an aim of the conference organised in Pécs to make the representatives of the two disciplines personally meet each other generating a dialogue, since in numerous cases the related education and research is taking place at the same institutions, however, the connection is only sporadic and initial.
