In recent years, cooperation with University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics and Business has been growing.
We have established five visiting professorships from UPFBE and six from the partner university in Zagreb, which ensure a stable cooperation in both education and research areas.
Another important reason for the visit was the fact that the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics and Business was awarded the EFMD institutional accreditation EQUIS this year, which, in addition to the AACSB accreditation, certifies the excellence of the Faculty at international level.
As a result of the discussions, the universities agreed to establish a common repository of knowledge to be made available to students, joint student and research projects, and a systematic exchange programme for professors.
During the visit, Dr Zoltán Schepp, Vice-Rector of PTE, also discussed regional development opportunities beyond the framework of institutional cooperation, thus providing opportunities for other institutions to join.
