On 11-12 April 2024, the XVI. Finance Days in Pécs took place at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs.
The focus of the conference was on digitalisation, compliance and sustainability (DCF), with a special focus on tax, finance and accounting.
On the first day of the conference, we invited prominent representatives of our professional community network and international research partners to Pécs for a plenary session in Hungarian and English. Without being exhaustive, Professor Amir Moradi (HAN International School of Business) spoke about the potential of AI in finance, while Professor Polona Šprajc (University of Maribor) discussed the relationship between modern organisational theories and sustainability. Philippe Arraou (ETAF) shared his thoughts on the future of tax advisors from the perspective of these disruptive forces.
The XVI. FDP highlighted the current digitalisation trends in the financial accounting and taxation sector and the growing role of sustainability. The presentations at the conference highlighted that sustainability is no longer a peripheral issue but a central element of financial strategy and decision-making.
