The Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pécs, Hungary (PTE-KTK) organized the Ferenc Farkas International Scientific Conference between 7-8th of June 2018 for the first time at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pécs.
More than 125 people participated at the conference, and the researchers arrived from 16 countries. 62 paper was published in the book of proceedings these articles were written by 95 different researchers. During the two-day long conference, there were 65 Hungarian and English presentations in 10 sections, where well-known professors, lecturers, and researchers shared their thoughts with the participants about the newest research results of their scientific field.
It was a great honor for us that the patrons of the conference: Geert HOFSTEDE and Iván BÉLYÁCZ have accepted our invitation. The organizing patron of the conference was the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference. We were delighted that the forthcoming meeting of the Management Committee of the MTA (Hungarian Academy of Sciences) was held within the framework of the conference, at which the introduction of the Workshop Pécs could be presented.
