The Simonyi Summer Social Entrepreneurship Program held between 9th and 27th of July. In this year 40 students from the University of Ohio, The College of Wooster, University of Botswana and the University of Pécs participated in the Program and worked on 9 different real-life projects which focus on value creation in the regional socio-economic environment of the University of Pecs.
During the program, students cooperated with Gere Hotel, Wine Route Association, Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, Y Community House. This cooperation will continue during the fall semester. During the three weeks they had opportunity to get to know Pécs, to visit Villány, Abaliget and Orfű.
