The Centre for Sustainability, part of CAL, aims to contribute in small steps each semester to help the faculty community (students and staff) adopt more sustainable behaviours. That's why we have launched the 'Be the change campus challenge' campaign series, which asks for one thing each semester that doesn't take too much effort, but is still an important step.
As a first theme of the campaign, stickers designed by the Centre and implemented by the Marketing Office have been placed in the toilets on the paper towel bins, which we hope will reduce the current average weekly consumption of 36 paper towel packs in Building B during term time.
We urge everyone to give it a try and pay more attention to their own paper towel consumption!
