Exploring Industry Colocation: Upcoming Lecture by Sándor Juhász

2024. november 14. 09:04
The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pécs will host an insightful lecture on November 18th, 1:00-2:30 pm, in room B323/1. Research fellow Sándor Juhász from Corvinus University of Budapest and the Hungarian Research Network (HUN-REN) will present his latest research, “Colocation of Skill-Related Suppliers: Revisiting Coagglomeration Using Firm-to-Firm Network Data.”

In his study, Juhász investigates how colocation impacts industry clusters, proposing that firms are more likely to colocate if their supply chains include not only goods exchange but also knowledge sharing. This research, based on extensive Hungarian micro-data, explores how labor flows and firm interconnections influence clustering within skill-based industries.

This event offers a valuable opportunity to dive deeper into the future of industry clusters and network-based business strategies. Don’t miss out on this thought-provoking discussion on the future of coagglomeration!

Registration is required to participate in the event!
