We conducted research on the use of social media by deaf and hard of hearing young people for the joint campaign ‘Stories to Sign’ by SINOSZ and the feat.

We conducted research on the use of social media by deaf and hard of hearing young people for the joint campaign ‘Stories to Sign’ by SINOSZ and the feat.

 

Research questions

  • How do young people who are deaf or hard of hearing use different social networking sites? What contents do they want?
  • What user groups can we distinguish among users?

 

    Methods used

    • questionnaire survey: to identify the habits and preferences of a specific target group
       
    • desk research: secondary data focusing on the media consumption habits of the general Hungarian population was collected so as to highlight differences in usage
